Sand
lake Cottages & Campground
We are situated 30 minutes north of Kingston and 1.5 hours south of
Ottawa on Powells Bay providing a spectacular view of the 2,046 acre
Sand Lake. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of our excellent
fishing, sandy beach, boat rentals, playground, horseshoe pit and games
room. A ten minute boat ride takes you to Sand Lake Marine, either Jones
Falls or Davis Locks, both part of the Rideau Canal System. Golf courses
are nearby. The village of Elgin is 5 minutes away and offers a bank,
post office, pharmacy, restaurant, grocery, hardware, liquor and beer
stores, laundromat, service stations, hairdressers, churches, florist,
bowling lanes and gym.
Corkegreen Acres
Choice of two lovely cottages with most conveniences in a private
location and 600 feet waterfront on a sheltered bay of Burridge Lake
(near Bob's Lake) in beautiful Eastern Ontario. Located on eight acres
with huge decks, docks, screened-in gazebos and sandy beaches with
shallow water entry - great for kids! Two 8' x 8' sun tents- one on each
dock and a third gazebo on mid-level decks at The Major Cottage. Each
cottage is exclusively private. Excellent boating, fishing, swimming,
walking, cycling, golfing (12 nearby courses) and scuba diving. Bird and
wildlife sanctuary nearby. High-speed Internet and telephone access
option. Laundry facilities nearby.
Weekly, weekend or overnite availability starting May.
